It has been a while that the old website was created. New work was added regularly in several places, but the home page was not updated frequently enough. Most of the time because the way the site was set up on different servers. A hassle, so postponed and postponed and... Not that good for a active website. And the site was showing its age. Navigation was not up to date, buying stuff on the site was a hassle and some other annoying things.
So for some time I have been looking for a way to change the configuration. Some research suggested several options, like building a new one in wordpress myself (oops), to pay (ohh...) for a new one developed by people who knew more of this kind of work, or looking at user-friendly ways to create a site. Squarespace looked good, was financially not too bad and offered enough possibilities to give it a try.
Still a work in progress, but I really like the way its shape is getting somewhere.
